Elembo

Art exhibition with Exodus Crooks, Darryl Daley and Hamed Maiye. Titled after a Lingala word for “symbol”, “mark”, “sign”, “proof”, “insignia”, “index”, “symptom”, “point(s)”, “impression” or “vibe” (among others), the three practices on view merge and molt into a chapel of becoming, crisscrossing the Black Atlantic through uncannily overlapping works realized over the last half-decade.
